Daniel Burnett, M.D., MBA
Dr. Burnett received his M.D. from Duke University and concurrently obtained an M.B.A. from Duke’s Fuqua School of Business. Since 2006 Dr. Burnett has raised, or helped raise, over $250MM for the seven TheraNova spinouts- BAROnova, Sequana Medical (formerly Novashunt), Velomedix, EMKinetics, Channel Medsystems, Potrero Medical, and Respirix.
He is an inventor on 15 issued patents and over 200 patents pending worldwide. And he’s an entrepreneur in residence with QB3 at the University of California San Francisco, as well as adjunct faculty in the Bioengineering Department.

Elisabeth Riviello, M.D.
Dr. Riviello is a graduate of the Hiatt Residency in Global Health Equity- A groundbreaking residency program established to extensively cover both internal medicine and public health.
Dr. Riviello is currently an Instructor of medicine at Harvard, with her clinical focuses including critical care medicine, Sepsis and Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome. She has done multitudes of research in developing nations across Africa, thus earning her over a dozen publications to her name- with a number of them focused on Medical Care in Low resource environments.
Michael is a digital creative executive and impact entrepreneur with more than 17 years growing companies and social good organizations. His roles have included Founder & CEO, Strategist, and Growth-Hacker. Michael began working in the internet industry in 1999, and went on to direct product marketing for an edtech startup with over 2M users nationwide. He founded and led the digital agency Wheel Media for 14 years.
Michael’s currently building a media & technology company centered on diversity and inclusion called New Sincerity.
